The Call of our Forefathers
Our land borders may shift from time to time, costing us on occasion our easternmost lands, but this is surmountable. The loss of our southern border at Naugard, however, could easily mean the end of Tyria.
- Edmund Hellnor, founder and first king of Tyria
Naugard is the southernmost, richest, and most ethnically diverse territory in Tyria. It is also the second-largest, its peculiar shape encompassing roughly 80% of Tyria’s shoreline and so playing host to the majority of Tyria’s maritime trade. It has been the site of fewer battles than Tyria’s eastern land border, but the battles it’s seen have been against greater odds and won at greater cost than battles along the land border. Despite this, it saw little combat during the War of Medarrion. It is currently stewarded by Marquis Rurik Barshai.
